As Data & Dashboard Engineer / Analyst you will work closely and interactively with business owners to understand their needs in reporting on and improving business processes, tap into available data, transform and analyze the data, write and enhance software to produce dashboards, reports and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Create software solutions that helps with management of business processes, to understand key metrics, possible improvements, bottlenecks and service levelsAnalyze available data and, as needed, collect, transform or request additional dataDevelop dashboards and reporting toolsMostly using ready-made analytics and visualization toolsRequires understanding of data, queries, charts, visualizationsUsing Google Data Studio and SQL-like queries, Google PLX, Apps ScriptAnalyze what data and insights can be most useful for improving the existing processes and for supporting the decision making, as well as what processes most benefit from automation; prioritize those tasks and get stakeholder buy-in for the prioritization; then add the tasks to the implementation backlog and develop the corresponding data tables and reports

Required Skills:

Hands-on software development capabilities, preferably with scripting languages, to build dashboards and reportsStrong command of SQL (or PLX)Solid understanding of databasesExperience to take inputs from business stakeholders with certain outcomes and requirements, and to translate those into technical requirementsOutstanding communication, self-leadership and self-organization skillsQuality orientation and attention to detailStrong analytical skillsBachelor’s degree in Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or comparable relevant experience

Preferred (Optional) Skills:

Understanding of GSuite - Google Doc, Sheets, Appscript, Datastudio etcProgramming experience in other languages such as JavaScript or PythonPLX experienceExperience with database queries, data warehouses, database design, related optimizationsQA skills in testing, scripting and test automation
