Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager with a strong background in software engineering and Agile methodologies to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), and a proven track record of managing complex technical projects from initiation through delivery.
Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end project management of software development initiatives, from planning through deployment and maintenance.
Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and design teams to define scope, set goals, and deliver quality outcomes.
Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, sprint backlogs, and timelines using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
Act as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach when needed; facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure clear communication of priorities, project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Coordinate and manage dependencies across teams and departments.
Monitor engineering metrics (velocity, burndown charts, lead time) to drive continuous improvement.
Support product owners with backlog grooming and ensure stories are ready for development.
Champion Agile best practices and foster a culture of collaboration and ownership.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience in project management within a software engineering environment.
Proven experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
Strong knowledge of software development processes and tools (CI/CD, Git, cloud platforms).
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
