What we are recruiting for:
Bovis are recruiting a Project Manager to join our UK Regions Construction business to support completion of remedial works to some of our projects completed across the Northwest. The role will be based out of our regional office in Manchester City Centre. The project manager will work with the internal fit-out delivery team to provide technical, commercial, quality and operational support.
The role will be to deliver fit-out remedial works packages ensuring excellence is achieved in time, cost and quality.
The role of the project manager is to develop and maintain an effective and productive relationship between the design team, project / site teams, commercial, client, supply chain partners and technical stakeholders. The project manager will be instrumental in co-ordinating and leading the team, through the safe delivery of the packages to mitigate risk and drive opportunities to maximise value to the client and Bovis. The manager will be responsible for the construction delivery through to handover for the works packages, including the management of design changes and package contract administration.
Roles & responsibilities:
Innovative and uncompromising approach to safety to ensure the successful delivery of packages in accordance with Bovis’s requirementsExperience managing multiple supply chain including sub-contractors and suppliersAbility to adopt and follow established project processes for contract administration, communications and document managementStrong written and verbal communication skills both technical and non-technical to client, supply chain, peers and stakeholders. Ability to prepare short, medium and long term programmes to establish co-ordinated strategies to deliver works packagesExperience working in a dispersed delivery teamWillingness to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholdersExperience managing consultants to ensure design and quality assurance deliverables are achieved and recordedAbility to manage package risks and drive opportunities to maximise valueExperience in delivering handover of complex packages / projectsExperience & background:
Working knowledge of technical standards and regulationsPrevious construction Project Management experience.Experience working in resource planning across the business and projects.Experience utilising digital technology (i.e. Aconex, Sablono, QA tools)We will provide:
