**JOB SUMMARY**
The Project Manager 2 is responsible for organizing and leading teams for moderate to large scale and complex projects to **ensure timely and accurate completion** of project tasks and goals. This includes managing the project scope, timeline, resources, as well as providing leadership and guidance to project team members.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE**
Develops project plans projects to ensure and feasibility of project with proper resourcing and effective change management.
Establishes project deliverables and timeframes and holds project team accountable for completion, keeping in mind both short-term and long-term objectives. Establishes clear project charter, team roles, responsibilities and accountabilities to ensure success of project. Prepares and presents project scope document and achieves agreement on project parameters and objectives. Receives approvals at each phase of project.
Interfaces with other departments to obtain needed resources to complete projects within expectations and timeframes.
Manages moderate to large scale and complex projects to ensure quality and timely achievement of project deliverables and objectives.
Prepares and maintains project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets and status reports.
Communicates task assignments and due dates in a clear, professional and timely manner. Anticipates potential issues and mitigates them through effective management of the work plan to meet committed time frames and project milestones.
Monitors project status, resolves risks, issues, action items and decisions in a timely manner and recommends solutions to leadership for support when needed, provides periodic status reports and resolves project problems and issues in a timely manner.
Facilitates team meetings to discuss project progress (daily stand-ups if using Agile methodology).
Serves as a contact to senior management and key stakeholders to report project progress and to assist with problem resolution.
Maintains business operations and applications knowledge level to provide required information as needed.
**KEY SUCCESS FACTORS**
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Healthcare, or related field preferred
Project Management Certification a plus
Demonstrated experience in Project Management
Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Proven working experience as a project manager
Aptitude for quickly understanding new processes and technical concepts and communicating them to a different audience.
Ability to effectively analyze data and concisely present findings.
Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated through experience developing cross-functional relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the project team and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and collaboration tools

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
- EXPERIENCE - 4 Years of Experience
