**About the role** As a Project Manager, you will make an impact by driving project execution, resource planning, and governance reporting across multiple initiatives. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations. **What you need to have to be considered** + 7+ experienced in process consulting and working in iterative development environments such as Agile, Kanban, SAFe, etc. + Experienced with PI Planning, Release Train and key concepts of SAFe Agile. + Lead roadmap planning sessions, resource planning, budget forecast for the entire Program. + Participate in and/or lead ceremonies like sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint demos, retrospectives, etc. + Ability to work with higher management and report on status and health of an Agile program. + Present program key metrics, Programs’ health dashboards, red flags to Client leadership. + Manage project timelines, overall project plan, and ensure all projects are delivered as per launch calendar. + Track and Maintain program budget forecast and optimization, capacity utilization, resource allocation / assignment. + Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices. + Work with external project managers, enterprise architects, business sponsors to discuss scope, timeline and budget for the projects. + Strong problem-solving skills with experience exercising mature judgment. + Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience. + Proficient in tracking tools such as Rally, Rational Team Concert, Confluence, Jira, etc. + Prepare Deployment Plans, coordinate with release management, obtain necessary approvals. + PMP / Agile PMP / SAFe Agile certified. **Additional Skills:** + Computer Science Degree or equivalent college education. + Should have at least 5-7 years of experience with at least 3-4 years working in large development projects. + Should have the ability to coordinate across multiple teams. + Be nimble in handling and delivering fast moving projects with very minimal supervision. **Salary and Other Compensation:** The annual salary for this position is between $129,500 to $152,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
