Project Manager – MedTech Engineering & New Product Development (NPD)
Job Requirements

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager specializing in MedTech Engineering and New Product Development (NPD). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects in the MedTech domain. This role requires expertise in resource planning, budget management, timeline tracking, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 1. Project Planning and Execution: • Develop and maintain comprehensive project management plans, including scope definition, resource management, communication management, risk management, and quality management plans. • Conduct feasibility analyses, define project goals, and establish life cycle phases. • Ensure alignment of project objectives with organizational goals and customer expectations.

 2. Resource Management: • Identify and allocate resources, including internal and contractual staff, hardware, software, and facilities. • Address resource competency gaps through training plans or hiring strategies in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team. 

3. Budget Management: • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial milestones are met. • Oversee funding allocation and purchase order (PO) processing to support project requirements.

 4. Timeline Tracking and Scheduling: • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones. • Monitor progress against planned timelines and address deviations proactively. 

5. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: • Document and communicate project status, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders, including customers, sponsors, and internal teams. • Facilitate regular status meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items.

 6. Risk and Change Management: • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across all project phases. • Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation and approvals.

 7. Quality Assurance and Deliverable Expediting: • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. • Expedite deliverables while maintaining compliance with project specifications.

 8. Leadership and Team Management: • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring alignment with project goals. 
 



Work Experience

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in electronic Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • Proven experience in MedTech engineering project coordination and NPD. • Strong expertise in resource planning, budget management, and timeline tracking. • PMP certification is preferred. • Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills. • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality standards in the MedTech domain.

 Preferred Skills: • Proficiency in project management tools and software. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.
