Provide assistance and support to Troon Golf owners, architects, interior designers, and associates in designing and developing managed facilities.

Essential Duties: Review documents (i.e.: blueprints, budgets) provided by architects to ensure they meet Troon Golf Standards, as well as follow compliance issues required by the municipality. Provide comments back to the architects and interior designers regarding changes to be made according to the above. Provide valuable engineering ideas to ownership, architects and interior designers to ensure the project falls within its budget. Provide a budget for each facility based on knowledge we have from existing facilities. Provide a timeline of activities required for each project to follow a schedule. Travel to properties to participate in field walks and site visits to ensure the integrity of the project and that all standards are in place for the owner. Provide sources for architects and interior designers that are golf specific if they are unable to source on their own. Review all contracts for requested services and provide comments back to the owners. Incorporate safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance. Attend staff meetings Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.      Physical Demands: Frequently: sits, uses hands to finger, handle, feel, reaches with hands and arms, talks and hears, and lifts up to 20 pounds; regularly stands, walks, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, and crawls. Environment/Noise: Noise level is moderate. Certificates/Licenses: A valid driver’s license is required.  Architectural Registration License and Interior Design Certification a plus, but not required.  Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences         Ability to read and speak Spanish is a plus. Job knowledge through construction experience is a plus. Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects daily. Ability to work independently with no supervision. Travel may be required for this position.
