This position works out of our San Diego, CA location in Abbott Rapid Diagnostics. This role is on-site daily and not remote.

As the Project Manager, your primary role will be to be accountable for leading and execution of Software and Connectivity programs in accordance to the organization’s methodology. The programs will be priority initiatives through collaboration with cross-functional teams across the Infectious Disease portfolio globally. It’ll be critical to understand the markets we are aiming to serve, partner with both regional and global teams, and own relationships to bridge knowledge gaps and influence change without authority. Doing so will result in helping to serve a very broad community of patients globally and serve a greater healthcare need.
What You’ll Work On
Accountability of leading and execution of highly critical Software and Connectivity projects in accordance with organization's project management methodology.Develop, prioritize and submit project plans, budgets and methodologies across a range of key Software and Connectivity projects.Define program resources, performance reviews, and post implementation evaluations.Accountability of the successful implementation of a set of projects that collectively can comprise a program.In addition:
Accountability for leading and executing multiple highly critical software and connectivity projects for established products and align with future platforms.Monitor progress and performance against the project plan.Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays.Evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project.Collaboration with senior leadership project sponsor to inform on status, escalate risks and issues, and receive coaching on mitigations.Lead core team content development and own presentation to senior leaders in monthly program updates.Select and manage ongoing relationships with internal and external partners so that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service. This includes alignment with Abbott Corporate business technology solutions team.Effectively lead, direct, and evaluate project core teams to ensure that projects are completed on-time, within budget and according to project specifications.Drive change management behavior within assignment core teams and actively participate on locations change community of practice.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in: Computer Science, Business, Biological Science or related field required.8+ years of related work experienceProject management experience with Smartsheet, MS Project, and Power BI experienceExperience working in a regulated environment, ideally healthcare software and connectivitySolid commercial financial acumenExcellent communication/presentation skills, and comfortable with presenting to leadershipOrganized and careful attention to detailAbility to travel 20% including globallyPreferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position is $114,000.00 – $228,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
