Our Grinding, Bulk, Pyro & Smelting Services division, based in West Perth, Western Australia, is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our dynamic team. You should have experience with large mining process equipment upgrade projects, with a focus on Bulk Material Handling within the Iron Ore sector.

 

As Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution and successful completion of modernisation and upgrade projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

 

 

What you will do:

 Manage  Class I,II and complex Class III (POC) ETO projects, internal projects such as standard part Warranty projects, critical projects for Shutdowns or breakdowns. Ensure delivery targets are met, fulfilling both customer expectation and contract obligations and achieving targets for safety, quality, schedule and budget Ensure practices are in accordance with Metso processes, tools and policies. Adherence to robust scope change management practices in delivering projects. Provide expert financial forecasting and oversight, and manage STECO activity for Class II projects. Responsible for overall project monitoring and coordination, issue resolution, schedule and budget management. Support MA handover, Warranty and Installed base activity post project Support and mentor PM I, II & III colleagues and take active lead in with team and process development activity

 

Key Competencies :

Technical Degree or relevant prior experience essential Able to read and understand drawings, manufacturing processes, and engineered assemblies Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated project management experience and ability Expert knowledge and experience of GBP product portfolio. Ability to multitask under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal English. Excellent working knowledge of PCM process in SAP PMP Certification and/or extensive PM experience essential.
