Project Manager, Customer Service

About the role Responsible for the management of all customer related projects requiring applications drawings. Projects are managed from receipt of purchase order through final shipment of equipment through receipt of engineering check out requests from contractors. Responsibilities Receive Purchase orders and sort for destination: Project Management, Customer Service or Theatrical Quotes Determine if customer has provided enough information for the Order: Contact Drawings, Specifications, Schedules, etc. Create, clean and maintain job files as needed Track job files throughout the building Maintain project databases Receive and processes project approvals and releases Attend weekly production and application meetings, if required Ensure ongoing communication between the various departments with regard to projects Release credit check and production/shipping packing slips to the production floor Issue internal purchase orders for all buy out items on an order Handles all questions and acts as project liaison with local Rep firm Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be computer literate in such programs as, but not limited to: Microsoft Windows, Word, Access and Excel Must be able to read riser diagrams, electronic schematics, and specifications Must have knowledge of electronic devices, dimming, and lighting controls is recommended Must have customer service skills, attention to detail, and creative problem solving skills are required Must be self-initiating and self-motivated, organizational skills Education & Experience High School Diploma required Associate Degree preferred Minimum 4 years’ project coordination or related experience required Travel Less than 5% What We Offer Comprehensive benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs 401K plans with employer-matching contributions Tuition reimbursement PTO Paid holidays Volunteer time off For more information about benefits, please go to: https://careers.leviton.com/benefits Leviton is an EEO/AA Employer.
