Mission and responsibilities:
Management of the technology plan and operations for the implementation program of the new international platform.
The main tasks of this position will be the following:
Develop the macro-plan of the program, as well as setting the different milestones.
Manage the progress of the program, the associated risks and problems as well as the associated report.
Ensures projects follow specific project plans and timelines; delivers status reports, issue logs, and generates appropriate documentation.
Ensures project work meets all contractual service levels associated with quality estimation and incident resolution.
Leads team members in data analysis and application integration.
Provides technical documentation updates for the latest enhancements or releases.
Ensures the team follows standards for tools/platforms/methodologies/development controls to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency in application development.
Coordination of cross-functional teams across Digital Channels, Assisted Channels, Core, Business, UX, etc., as well as management of team interdependencies within the same and different areas, establishing methodological and reporting tools that allow for aligning plans and objectives according to program milestones.
Facilitate communication among teams on the most relevant aspects of the project, allowing them to have a clear view of prioritization and program status.
Assist in unblocking and escalating all issues that may present a blocking point in meeting program milestones with Technology, Development, Business, and UX teams.
Promote communication between IT teams, facilitating the identification of potential synergies, enabling improved daily work, and helping to identify risks that may affect deliveries.
Management of supplier plans and dependencies: monitoring and prioritizing deliveries from key project suppliers based on project objectives and launch scenarios. Escalation and monitoring implementation-blocking issues
Coordination and monitoring of platform performance activities and dependency management with teams.
Coordination and alignment of plans, executive-level reporting, coordination of product definition and design between business and technology areas, clearing blockages, communicating deviations or impacts within developments in order to meet program milestones.
What are we looking for in this position?
Master´s/Bachelor´s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / or similar.
MBA will be positively valued.
Experience in technology consulting and/or implementation of systems in medium/large size projects.
Relevant experience in PMO or Program Management. Having skills for the detailed management of programs of medium high complexity is a must.
Spoken and written negotiation and communication skills are necessary.
Having knowledge of Banking and IT in a Financial environment. Desirable experience in Digital and/or Assisted Channels. Experience in technological platforms like those of Openbank will be valued positively.
Proactivity and creativity. Orientation to results. Teamwork. Used to adapt to constantly changing environments.
Languages: C1/C2 level in English and Spanish.
