Job Description
The Project Manager leads complex, multi-vendor initiatives within large-scale Medicaid programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements. This senior role drives disciplined execution across the full project lifecycle—applying rigorous governance, risk management, and proactive communication to deliver predictable, high-quality outcomes that build client trust and program success.
- Drive Complex Project Delivery: Lead multiple high-impact projects across a multi-vendor ecosystem from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
- Plan and Govern with Precision: Build and maintain integrated project schedules, apply stage-gate governance, and enforce disciplined change control to ensure quality and compliance.
- Manage Teams and Risks: Oversee project teams to meet deadlines, actively manage RAID logs, and escalate risks with clear mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and Communicate: Align workstreams, vendors, and stakeholders while serving as the primary source of transparent status updates and resource management.
- Ensure Performance and Alignment: Monitor delivery against SLAs, budgets, and regulatory timelines; support capacity planning; and collaborate across programs to balance priorities.

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 10+ years in project management leading large, complex software initiatives.
- Strong expertise in waterfall delivery, stage-gate governance, change control, and full SDLC execution.
- Skilled in building and managing critical-path schedules and driving teams to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project (MS Project Online preferred) and experience with RAID, change control, and executive reporting.
- Proven success delivering projects in high-pressure, client-facing environments with multiple vendors. - PMP
- Medicaid, MMIS or public sector healthcare experience
