Project Lead Engineer in PWS
**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Ensure the capacity of multiple project engineering execution. + Engineering Focal Point with customers, Interface between project engineering with Localization/QC as well as BCEC Engineering Team, to ensure that project requirement and project standard procedure are correctly applied. + Review Contract Requirement such as BOM and Specification. + Ensure that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to commencing work + Present Engineering Guideline for Basic design and functional & detail Design to implement the application of Hardware and Software based on the Contractual Specification. + Generate functional and conceptual design specifications and provides technical leadership, support and expertise for Ovation Control Design. + Ensure that the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation and implementation process at minimum cost by allocating work assignments. + Ensure the Implementation/Application for hardware & software on Engineering Standard and ISO according to Company Standard procedure. + Manage and review Customer’s design input data such as IO list, P&ID, Logic & Loop, interface list and etc. + Review PR, the status/progress of Engineering/Document/Product and System Deliverable which was provided by Engineer. + Share technical knowledge with project team and provide guidance to engineer + Report any contractual variation, engineering progress and technical problem to Engineering Supervisor, Make Engineering Report on Monthly Basis. + Develop the capability to expertise Project Engineering and Management Knowledge + Conduct Project Technical Meeting and Design Review Meeting. + Develop Test/Inspection Procedure. Lead Pre-FAT/FAT on Test/Inspection procedure to ensure Contract requirement and technical specification. + Confirm Check-list to ensure System Clean-up and Cleared open-items before shipment. + Perform field service activities of Mega project and retrofit project as Technical Advisor. + Actively contribute in the pre-engineering phase of a project. As such, identify to the customer support which information is required before project starts + Assist and support sales organization in defining and estimating the engineering and technical scope of work + Achieve and improve customer satisfaction by ensuring that projects are delivered on time, while the customer's technical specifications and all other contractual commitments are met. + Perform any other relevant tasks and duties as assigned by Engineering Supervisor **Who You Are:** You have supervision role when assigned to specific taskforce. You direct and manage assigned after sales services to customers, including diagnosis, upgrades, scale up, start-up & commissioning, installation, maintenance, repairing, training, and Plant MRO/parts. You need to take a leading role working under close supervision. + Ensures accountability: Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments. + Collaborates: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. + Communicates effectively: Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. + Customer focus: Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions. + Situational adaptability: Adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Degree in Electrical Engineering + Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. + Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS excel. + Over 3-5 years’ experience in technical/industrial environment. + Excellent collaboration skills with a wide variety of people. + Ability to handle urgent and sensitive situations and working under pressure. + Knowledge about computer networking (e.g., TCP/IP, Serial, Modbus), and operating software (Windows). + Traveling is s part of the job as required. **Our Culture & Commitment to You** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
