Industrial Market Business Development Director responsible for strategic growth, client acquisition, and market expansion in the industrial sector.
Job Requirements:
Experience in business development or market leadership within the industrial or manufacturing sector
Experience developing and executing strategic and tactical business development plans
Experience authoring fee proposals and securing new project work
Experience managing or supporting client relationships at a portfolio level
Operational understanding of project delivery and support of product manufacturing
Preferred Skills:
Experience identifying and developing new services or geographic markets with high growth potential
Experience working with executive leadership on market strategy and key pursuits
Experience collaborating with marketing teams to develop market-focused collateral and materials
Experience monitoring market trends and forecasting required capabilities or skill sets
Job Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of the overall strategic vision and direction of the industrial market
Lead research and information gathering to identify new services and geographic areas with high growth potential
Coordinate with the Executive Vice President to identify key pursuits critical to industrial market growth
Collaborate with marketing support to determine and develop materials, brochures, and tools to strengthen business development efforts
Author high-quality, well-developed fee proposals that secure new projects for the firm
Develop tactical plans to identify new strategic clients and business relationships
Foster and grow existing client and business relationships, including monitoring client satisfaction and pursuit leads
Maintain healthy client relationships and apply operational insight to drive projects and execute deliverables
Identify project goals and clearly communicate them to project teams to ensure client expectations are consistently achieved
Guide Project Managers and project teams in achieving client expectations and market objectives
Monitor market trends and forecast key skill sets and capabilities needed to meet evolving client demands and expectations
Pay Details: $135,000.00 to $165,000.00 per year
