Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Executive with extensive experience in pharmaceutical construction, specifically in building lab facilities for pharma companies. This role will lead field operations, manage client expectations, and oversee contract change orders for high-value mechanical projects involving HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fume hood systems.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain strict adherence to all company safety rules, regulations, procedures, and practices.
• Share the “Courage to Care” safety message and serve as a role model for safe work practices.
• Act as the Senior Project Manager on select projects, providing direct supervision to Project Managers and Project Engineers.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop teammates; provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
• Review wage adjustments and disciplinary actions in coordination with the Director of Operations or VP.
• Lead monthly Cost-to-Complete (CTC) meetings and ensure consistency in project management practices.
• Assist in estimating, bid reviews, and sales presentations for pharma lab construction projects.
• Support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting with the General Manager or VP.
• Oversee cash flow, including billings and collections, for all assigned projects.
• Communicate updates, changes, and company information to project teams.
• Participate in division key manager meetings and collaborate across project management teams.

Skills and Requirements
Must haves:
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience, including hands-on management of projects exceeding $10M in scope.
• Proven leadership of teams with at least three direct reports.
• Recent experience managing pharma construction projects, especially lab builds with cleanroom standards.
• Strong understanding of contract change orders, field operations, and client-facing project delivery.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and thorough knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Proficiency in current technology: laptop, tablet, smartphone, Microsoft Teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders diplomatically.
• Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills and sound business judgment.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm under pressure.
Willingness to travel to job sites and attend client meetings, including after-hours events when needed.
