Project Engineering Manager

Wood is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager with Pre-FEED, FEED & EPC/ EPCm experience in Pharmaceutical, Speciality Chemicals, Life Sciences, Petrochemical ,O&G Projects. We are open to consider a staff or contract basis.

Hybrid working with the expectation of working 3 days from our Glasgow office

 

The Role

You will be based in our Glasgow office alongside the existing Wood Engineering Team to ensure delivery excellence across assigned projects / portfolios providing project certainty and confidence to our clients, and ensuring robust control of project scope, schedule, cost and risk.

The Operations business, of which our Glasgow office is part of, can offer a wide range of opportunities which will allow you to develop your skills across a portfolio of onshore projects in different sectors. Our current portfolio includes pharmaceutical, green hydrogen and fuel switching, as well as supporting local clients with energy transition.  Additionally, we work on UK national infrastructure, refineries, petrochemical facilities and fine chemicals facilities. We have a number of clients who we are working with to design their pilot plants to test exciting new technologies, with a view to partnering with them as they move to design and build full-scale commercial facilities.
