About This Role As a Project Owner (PO) at CAE, you will play a pivotal role in managing the engineering backlog for one or more projects within the International Defence and Security Portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including System and Software Architects, Project Specialists, Engineers, Military Training Experts and Product Owners – to ensure that the technical solutions align with training requirements, budget constraints and customer expectations. This role will require a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, technical acumen, and ability to lead and influence across departments. The role we are offering you + Define the project scope with System Architects and Technical Leads + Own and manage a unified project backlog in JIRA + Maintain alignment between technical solutions and project scope + Develop and manage cross-departmental release plans and roadmaps Our ideal candidate has: + Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, hardware engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science or similar degrees. + Proficiency in JIRA and Agile Methodologies + Proven experience as an Agile Product Owner or System Software Developer. + Risk identification and mitigation expertise Location: + Give the location and state (e.g. Homebush, NSW) + We operate a hybrid working approach.
