Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer (Mechanical) to join our dynamic team in Bangkok, Thailand. In this key role, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and managing mechanical engineering projects across various sectors, including transportation, healthcare, and commercial buildings.

Support the design and implementation of mechanical building services solutions, including ACMV, HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systemsEnsure full compliance with current building services legislation and engineering standardsConduct detailed analyses and calculations to support project designsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and review mechanical design drawingsManage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standardsProvide technical expertise for the preparation of manuals and other project documentationCoordinate with BIM specialists to ensure design packages are produced to required timescales and quality standardsSupport Project Managers during design, installation, commissioning, and testing phasesLiaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project successDevelop innovative and sustainable mechanical engineering solutions for complex projectsParticipate in the development of technical proposals and project presentations

QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institutionMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering design consultancyProven track record working on projects such as Metro/LRT/MRT, rail or road tunnels, data centers, hospitals, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildingsProficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) at various Levels of Development (LODs)Experience with specialized engineering software, including HAP, E20, and fire hydraulic calculation softwareFamiliarity with AutoCAD and 3D modeling softwareUnderstanding of sustainable design practices and their application in mechanical engineeringStrong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing abilitiesOpen to work on a 2 years employment contract
