Overview

Seeking a senior Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with 15+ years’ experience to support a portfolio of industrial capital projects. The role focuses on engineering evaluations, project coordination, and technical support across electrical, instrumentation, and boiler-related scopes. Boiler/BMS experience and E&I exposure are assets but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Perform engineering design evaluations and support project delivery within budget and schedule

Review industry procedures and reports to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance

Participate in ITT development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection

Support identification and sourcing of long?lead equipment and FEED contractor interfaces

Develop project deliverables and functional interaction plans; coordinate issue resolution

Coordinate change requests and endorse change authorizations as required

Verify design and construction align with project specifications and standards

Serve as interface between Project Team and contractors; support smooth stage transitions

Provide technical support to the Project Manager and act as backup when required

Qualifications

BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline

15+ years of engineering experience in industrial, energy, or capital project environments

Multi?discipline exposure across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation scopes preferred

Familiarity with design standards, specifications, and engineering work processes

Strong organizational, coordination, and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities

Proficient in MS Office; able to learn internal systems and databases quickly

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
