**Job Title:** Project Engineer **Location:** Edmonton, AB (Hybrid schedule: In office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, with Wednesday and Friday remote) Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the project management and planning department supporting operations, core programs, and major projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Description:** + Develop and coordinate comprehensive, detailed facility-by-facility plans for all pipeline facility work, including operations, core programs, and major projects. + Facilitate detailed site scheduling in collaboration with various stakeholders to optimize project execution and meet outage and in-service date requirements. + Monitor and flag schedule and coordination risks, providing proactive solutions to ensure project milestones are achieved. + Analyze scope and contracting strategies to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains across projects. + Manage site plot plans, identify potential construction interference, and advise on safety and operational risks to ensure smooth project execution. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, construction, or project controls, with a focus on scheduling and construction sequencing. + Experience working on industrial projects, particularly in pipeline operations, outage management, and interface coordination. + Strong understanding of construction activities, interdependencies, labor, and equipment management. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across diverse project teams and stakeholders. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work on impactful projects within a leading industry organization. + Hybrid work environment promoting work-life balance. + Collaborative team culture that values innovation and continuous improvement. + Chance to develop your skills in a dynamic and challenging setting. + Supportive leadership committed to your professional growth.
