Job Summary:

Trane in Qatar is hiring for a Controls Project Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, commissioning, and executing automation projects, including HVAC controls and security systems. You will coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors to ensure project approval, compliance, and timely completion. In addition, you will be involved in troubleshooting BMS systems, providing invoice details, and maintaining clear communication with the office. 

Responsibilities:

Coordination with the consultants and clients for the approval and design of Automation projects.Involve during designing, commissioning followed by execution of projects. (projects will include (IBMS) HVAC Controls – AHUs, FCUs, Chiller and Air washers) and Security Products (CCTV, Access control systems, time & attendance systems).Responsible for the complete execution of BMS Projects.Performing necessary works as per contract agreements troubleshoot and resolve complex problems in BMS systems and on site physical checking of system functionality.Coordinate activities of in-house trades and outside contractors assigned to projects to ensure compliance to specifications and project completion timetables.Provide Invoice details to the team.Providing clear on site communication / clear understandable works reports / regular communication with the office / fully responsible for timely escalation of any issues or occurrences.Find solutions of different problems related to Control & Automation for different Industries.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum five years’ experience in controls, HVAC or related preferred.Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes associated with the installation of building automation systems and subcontractors preferred.Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to:  DUI in the previous 5 years; Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
