As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Providing skilled level engineering support for all current customer contracts, key field product application and/or completion product performance.Developing Technical Operating Manuals (TOM), Hook up drawings, Operating Procedures System Limits, Decision Tree/ Matrix, Torque & Drag, Tubemove with other models and review them with customer and Global Engineering teamsDetermining Equipment Specifications/Ratings, drawings, running procedures and equipment compatibility for the sales team according to customer requirementsProviding technical training to customer and Baker Hughes employees as necessaryAssist with well specific job design based on applications and review with customer before handover to operationsAssisting with technical requirements during pre-tendering phase & Technical Proposals for Tender submissionPerforming new technology introduction and collaboration with product line to implement itProviding Engineering support for troubleshooting rig operationsInvestigating unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative actionConducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirementsHandling special projects as assignedFuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (or a high school diploma / GED) with at least 10 years of experience in Upper Completions.Demonstrate Exceptional knowledge in Upper Completions products and Intelligent Production Systems (Smart Completions), preferably deepwater operations.Show excellent technical writing skills and proficiency in CAD and MS Office suiteHave knowledge of open hole and cased hole completions systemsHave thorough understanding of down hole hydraulics, Torque & Drag, Tubemove Models & MS Office applicationsBe able to work with little supervision and to work well with the teamWork in a way that works for you
