About the Role:1. Quantity Take-Off & MeasurementPrepare quantity take-offs from drawings for BOQ preparationMeasure quantities for earthwork, concrete, steel, masonry, finishing, and other civil worksVerify quantities with tender drawings and IFC drawingsMaintain detailed measurement sheets and related documentation2. Cost Estimation & BudgetingPrepare detailed cost estimates and project budgetsAnalyse material, labour, and equipment cost componentsAssist in tender preparation and bid evaluationCompare estimated cost with actual cost and report deviations3. BOQ & TenderingPrepare and update Bill of Quantities (BOQ)Review contractor/vendor quotations and assist in evaluationSupport tender documentation and contract preparation4. Billing & Payment CertificationPrepare and verify RA bills (Running Account Bills)Check contractor and subcontractor bills for accuracyPrepare client billing and payment certificatesTrack and maintain project cash flow and billing status5. Contract AdministrationReview contract agreements and technical specificationsHandle variations, extra items, and change ordersMaintain documentation for claims, justifications, and dispute resolution6. Cost Control & MonitoringMonitor project expenditure against approved budgetsIdentify potential cost-saving opportunitiesPrepare periodic cost reports, forecasts, and analysis7. CoordinationCoordinate with site teams, planning, procurement, and contractorsEnsure that quantities match executed work and drawingsProvide technical inputs for smooth project execution8. Documentation & ReportingMaintain BOQ records, quantity sheets, rate analyses, and cost registersPrepare monthly progress reports, MIS, and cost summariesReview and verify drawings using AutoCAD
About You:
Bachelor's degree in, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Billing Engineer, or similar role in the construction industryStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniquesProficiency in billing systems, and MS Excel for data analysis and reportingExcellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication and negotiation abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with relevant construction contracts, regulations, and industry standardsWhy join Cushman & Wakefield?
