Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer with experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
The Role
Responsible for supporting the objectives of the Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Sustainability Policies (HSSE&S), Quality Policy and Information Security Policy by adhering to applicable Procedures and Work Practices while fulfilling of duties. Scope and contract compliance within an allocated sub-area of a project. Discipline coordination, cross-discipline problem resolution, expediting and general facilitation of the delivery of the Engineering scope to schedule, within assigned sub-area. Production of assigned Project Engineering deliverables assuring their technical quality. Monitor progress of work for Engineering, Process, Procurement and Construction versus the schedule and coordinate between these groups within assigned sub-area. Review of key discipline deliverables at the appropriate stage (e.g., Major equipment, package equipment and major bulk material requisitions) for scope compliance. Highlight and facilitate resolution for schedule issues relating to all disciplines within the sub-area. Identify change within sub-area and raise appropriate change flags. Prepare scope, gather manhour, schedule impact and other technical input and prepare justification for change flags raised by all disciplines. Raise multi-discipline Contract Engineering Data sheets / Project Development Records where necessary.What we can offer
