Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Assoc, Project Engineer to lead Sch B initiatives, managing projects end-to-end across the full lifecycle. The ideal candidate is schedule and data driven, capable of calculating monthly actual savings, validating estimations, and managing design changes, prototype testing, DFMEA/PFMEA, PPAP, and cross-functional communication. The role also requires strong cost model ownership and the ability to perform project-level CBA, including NPV and IRR analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage Sch B projects end-to-end, from opportunity identification to design implementation.Manage project scope, lead design changes, and coordinate prototype builds and testing;Communicate with cross-functional teams on inventory exhaustion, backlog conversion, and new design ramp-up;Drive DFMEA and PFMEA reviews to ensure design robustness and manufacturability;Support and coordinate PPAP activities with cross-functional teams;Calculate monthly actual savings and validate latest estimations (LE) based on historical data and functional team inputs;Maintain and update SQL data base for Sch B project management  Systematically upload and manage Sch B data for transparency and accuracy;Coordinate engineering teams to identify new Sch B opportunities via benchmarking, BOM studies, and should-cost analysis;Own and maintain critical cost models, ensuring accuracy and timely updates;Conduct project-level cost-benefit analysis (CBA), including NPV and IRR analysis;Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency and collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, or related fields;3–5 years of  project management experience with end-to-end ownership;Strong numerical sensitivity with excellent data analysis and system thinking skills.Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, design changes, and product verification;Familiarity with manufacturing processes and product development lifecycle;Excellent English communication skills(CET-6), capable of global coordination;Advanced Excel skills and awareness of AI tools for analysis and automation;Proficient in MS Project, MS Office; PPM tool experience is a plus;PMP or equivalent certification is preferred;Strong organization, problem-solving, and teamwork capabilities.
