As a Project Design Engineer, you’ll be part of our Communications team, a close-knit group who partner with customers to deliver tailored medical technology solutions.

What You’ll Do

Design Digital Operating Theatres that meet both clinical and technical requirementsCreate 2D and 3D CAD designs to integrate with architects and buildersCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to define and refine project scopeCustomise and configure our medical devices to create unique, fit-for-purpose solutionsWork closely with Project Managers and Installers to coordinate and review on-site implementationMaintain exceptional quality and compliance standards through Stryker’s Quality Management SystemDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design efficiency and quality outcomes

What You’ll Bring

A tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related technical disciplineExperience with CAD systems (AUTOCAD or similar design software)A solid understanding of engineering principles and system integrationAn adaptable mindset – able to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and competing prioritiesStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical groupsA commitment to learning, sharing knowledge, and mastering new technical challenges as part of a high-performing team
