Project Engineer
Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Engineer to join our team in support of the Everglades Restoration Program. This role involves working on a significant pump station project, contributing to the restoration efforts in South Florida.

ResponsibilitiesHandle submittals, requests for information, daily reports, and coordinate between subcontractors.Support the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in managing various project aspects.Update job progress reports, submittal log, and the 4-week look ahead schedule.Assist with project management in the absence of the Project Manager.
Essential SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.2+ years of experience in civil or mechanical construction projects.Proficiency in handling RFIs, submittals, material take-offs, blueprints/drawings, and field inspections.Strong computer skills with preferred experience in P6 Software, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with USACE and/or SFWMD is a plus.
Work Environment

The Project Engineer will work at one of the following pump station sites: G-6A Pump Station or S-623 Pump Station. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, including QC, site safety, and administrative staff. The role is typically scheduled from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend work. Safety gear such as a hard hat, steel toe boots, work pants, company shirt, safety vest, gloves, and safety glasses are required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bay, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $38.46/hr.
