Job Title: Project Engineer Job Description
Join our team as a Project Engineer at a major global facility undergoing significant investment in capital projects over the next several years. This role involves overseeing and executing various transformation efforts, including equipment installation, refurbishment, utilities management, and integration projects. You will play a key role in relocating operations and enhancing the production capacity of essential consumer products.
Responsibilities
+ Manage and oversee capital projects with budgets ranging from $25-$30M annually.
+ Coordinate and supervise installation and refurbishment projects, including piping and electrical installations.
+ Interface with contractors, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and design specifications.
+ Work closely with design teams on layout and conceptualization of projects.
+ Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and quality policies.
+ Provide engineering support for production and facility equipment and systems.
+ Supervise contractors and manage permits and project documentation.
+ Engage in on-site supervision and coordination of project activities.
Essential Skills
+ 3-10 years of experience in high-speed packaging equipment or chemical batch processing operations within consumer products.
+ Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple project assignments concurrently.
+ Proficient in CAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
+ Experience in managing contractors and supervising processes.
+ Experience in commissioning and qualification processes (IQ, OQ, PQ).
+ Project management skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and purchasing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
+ Experience with projects valued at $2-5M.
+ Previous experience with companies such as P&G, Unilever, Clorox, or in food or pharmaceutical industries (GMP knowledge preferred).
+ Commitment to continuous learning and effective teamwork.
Work Environment
This position is based in a newly renovated facility that is a hub for innovation and transformation in consumer product manufacturing. The work involves both office and on-floor supervision, with a focus on safety and quality. Project contracts start around 18 months with opportunities for long-term engagement. You will be part of a dynamic team working on the Superman Line and other key projects that significantly impact product performance and innovation.

This is a Contract position based out of SAINT PETERS, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
