This Position reports to:

Principal Project Engineer
 Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.
 

Qualifications for the roleB. Tech / B.E from a reputed University with first class in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical engineeringMinimum 3 to 10 years of hands on experience in process or safety systems, predominantly in application engineering,
HMI engineering, 3rd party communication, FAT and SAT for process automation in any of the domains like oil & gas or
refineries or petrochemicalsGood knowledge on process or ICSS and safety systems (fire & gas protection systems or emergency shutdown
systems)Knowledge on brownfield scope of work for DCS - modifications, retrofits, upgrades, service and commissioningHands on experience in producing documents ranging from pre to detailed engineering, system testing (FAT & IFAT) etc.,Experience in virtualization concepts, ESXi setup, raid configuration and VMware configurationExperience in any ABB systems like 800xA, SG400, Advant, AC800M, AC450, AC410 etc,. will be an added advantage
