Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves interfacing with clients and managing various construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong social skills, a background in General Contracting, Subcontracting, or Engineering, and proficiency in Excel and general computer knowledge.
ResponsibilitiesInterface with clients to understand their needs and ensure project alignment.Manage and organize project tasks and prioritize based on customer requirements.Communicate effectively with team members and articulate thoughts clearly.Step into a Project Management role, demonstrating leadership and decision-making skills.Engage in critical thinking and problem-solving to execute tasks independently.Collaborate with specialized teams to integrate and commission unique industrial material handling projects.Essential Skills1-3 years of experience in project engineering or construction management.Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline except IT) or Construction Management.Proficiency in Bluebeam and project management software.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage to-do lists efficiently.Excellent communication skills and extroverted personality.Additional Skills & QualificationsGPA of 3.0 or higher.Experience as a Project Coordinator with 3+ years of experience.Teachability and willingness to learn unique processes.Work Environment
The work environment is laid-back and less formal, with a team atmosphere that encourages social interaction. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and tennis shoes. The position involves working in the WIC office and traveling to job sites out of state, averaging slightly more than one trip per month. Trips typically last 1-2 nights. Employees will work in a brand-new facility equipped with top-notch technology, benefiting from incredible views. The company has grown from 3 to 50 people over 15 years, achieving financial strength and a bonding capacity exceeding $100MM. The role focuses on building large steel structures detached from buildings, without core and shell work, emphasizing guts and material handling projects.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $43.00/hr.
