Project Engineer – Heavy Civil Infrastructure Midtown Manhattan, NY | AirTrain Project or Port Authority Bus Terminal Full-Time | $125,000–$175,000 Build What Matters. Shape the Future. We’re seeking a Project Engineer to join our team on two of New York City’s most high-profile infrastructure projects: the Midtown Port Authority Bus Terminal and the AirTrain Project. What You’ll Do + Support field teams including Project Engineers and Superintendents. + Supervise field operations and subcontractor activities. + Interpret construction drawings and specifications; ensure code compliance. + Manage material takeoffs, procurement, and delivery schedules. + Lead project and financial closeouts with subcontractors and the Owner. + Maintain document control and subcontractor compliance. + Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and subcontractor scopes. + Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance. + Coordinate with QA/QC on non-compliance issues. + Assist with schedules, updates, purchase orders, and subcontracts. + Support monthly billing, cash flow, and change order processing. What You Bring + Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. + 5–10 years of experience on heavy civil infrastructure projects over $100M. + Strong cost control, finance, and contract management Experience. + Proficiency in ProCore, Primavera P6, and OSHA 30 certification. + Deep understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. + Experience with bridge construction is a plus.
