JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading and overseeing projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will manage resources, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications to ensure project success. You will play a key role in driving business objectives, improving team collaboration, and delivering results that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experience
+ Project Management and Coordination
Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering projects from initiation to completion.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones, ensuring on-time and cost-effective delivery.
Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and subcontractors.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
+ Technical Expertise
Review and interpret engineering designs, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure feasibility and compliance.
Provide technical support and solutions to address project challenges.
Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses as required.
Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
+ Risk and Quality Management
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and adherence to design specifications.
+ Communication and Reporting
Prepare and present detailed project updates, including progress reports, technical assessments, and financial summaries.
Foster clear and effective communication between team members, and external stakeholders.
Address client concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
+ Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
Ensure stakeholder needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs while maintaining alignment with stakeholders.
Qualifications
+ BSc in Engineering.
+ Minimum 2-3 years of Project management experience, undertaking responsibility ideally in a multinational environment.
+ Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
+ Preferably experience in FMCG.
+ Preferably have PMP Certification or other relevant certifications.
+ Knowledge of mechanical & Electrical systems used in FMCG production, including hydraulics, pneumatics, packaging machines, and conveyors.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
+ Advanced user of MS Office applications.
+ Familiarity with MS Projects, Technical Drawings and AutoCad.
+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
+ Living (or willing to live) in Corlu.

As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business which is expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
