Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily reinforcement, shuttering, and concrete casting activities according to project specifications and structural drawingsEnsure proper implementation of reinforcement details including spacing, lapping, cover blocks, and binding as per approved drawingsOversee shuttering/formwork installation, ensuring proper alignment, stability, and support systems before concrete placementDirect concrete pouring operations, monitoring concrete mix quality, placement techniques, and curing processesConduct quality control inspections at each stage of work to verify compliance with project specificationsCoordinate with engineering team to resolve technical issues and clarify drawing interpretationsManage and mentor construction workers, providing technical guidance and trainingMaintain accurate daily logs of activities, material consumption, and labor utilizationIdentify potential issues before they arise and implement appropriate preventive measuresEnforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations specific to high-rise constructionQualificationsMinimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in supervising reinforcement, shuttering, and concrete casting works specifically in high-rise building constructionProven track record in managing structural concrete works for buildings of 15+ floorsIn-depth knowledge of reinforcement detailing, formwork systems, and concrete technologyStrong understanding of structural drawings and ability to interpret technical specificationsExperience with various formwork systems including traditional timber, steel, and proprietary systemsFamiliarity with concrete mix designs, placement methods, and quality control proceduresWorking knowledge of relevant building codes and construction standardsExcellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage diverse construction teamsSkills & AttributesMeticulous attention to detail in reinforcement and formwork inspectionStrong problem-solving abilities to address field challenges proactivelyEffective time management skills to coordinate multiple concrete pours and schedule activitiesAbility to work under pressure during critical concrete placement operationsCommitment to maintaining highest quality standards in structural concrete works
