Project Director

 

Position Summary:

Our client, a company active in the construction and project development industry, is looking for a Project Director – Business Developer to lead business development activities, oversee project sales strategies, and strengthen client relationships in line with company growth objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales Strategy

Identify new business opportunities and potential clients through market research Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company's objectives Monitor project progress to ensure achievement of sales targets Expand the company’s market share in products and services Represent and promote the company to key stakeholders: clients, architects, developers, contractors

Client & Partner Relationship Management

Maintain continuous communication with partners, clients, suppliers, and internal departments Organize and lead meetings to coordinate team activities Provide feedback and consultation to clients on products/services Ensure a professional, trustworthy, and transparent relationship with all stakeholders

Sales & Contractual Execution

Ensure smooth operation of the commercial process within assigned projects Develop tailored strategies for each project to maximize value and efficiency Oversee the preparation and accuracy of commercial and contractual documentation Monitor payment collections and compliance with deadlines Ensure confidentiality regarding all commercial and competitive data

 Operational Duties & Resource Management

Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal and team equipment Respect company procedures regarding the use of the assigned vehicle Proactively report equipment issues to responsible departments

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field Proven experience in sales or business development within the construction or technical sectors Project management experience is an advantage Strong understanding of the sales cycle and project-based business models Availability for frequent travel, both domestically and internationally Driving license (category B) Fluent in English (written and spoken); Hungarian is a plus.
