Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Project Director to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our organization, you will lead and oversee complex, high-profile projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion.

Provide strategic leadership and direction for multiple large-scale projects, aligning them with organizational goals and objectivesDevelop and implement project management methodologies, best practices, and standards across the organizationOversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization and project successCollaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to define project scope, deliverables, and expectationsIdentify and mitigate potential risks, developing contingency plans to ensure project continuityLead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvementServe as the primary point of contact for senior management, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and successesDrive decision-making processes, resolving complex issues and conflicts that arise during project executionAnalyze project performance metrics and implement strategies for enhancing efficiency and effectivenessCultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders

QualificationsProven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex, large-scale projects in a corporate environmentBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferredProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalentMinimum of 20 years of progressive project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership roleStrong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practicesExceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse, multidisciplinary teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levelsDemonstrated commercial acumen and experience in budget management and resource allocationProven ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plansStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on risk management and mitigationExperience working in a global or multicultural environment is highly desirableProficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira)Adaptability and resilience in managing complex, dynamic project environments
