HDR is currently seeking a Leader for Project Digital Project Delivery management and technical execution to contribute to the development and implementation of various Architectural projects.

The ideal candidate will be expected to develop and lead efforts relating to Digital Project Delivery and supporting the overall vision and initiatives of the project. The candidate must be experienced in leading project teams and the execution of Digital Delivery projects.

Fundamental to this position will be a working knowledge of the Architectural design process and the use of Digital Project Delivery methodology and design technology throughout various stages of a project.

In addition, the Project team seeks candidates with experience in the practical application of Digital Project Delivery including collaboration and effective coordination of whole building design in an integrated delivery approach. The ability to work effectively with a variety of groups and experience levels. Successful candidates will be responsible for developing and strengthening connections with project partner and project leadership, and the project team as a whole. Training, education, industry exposure and personal growth in the candidate’s respective area of expertise will excel with this opportunity as they become a trusted project partner.

Primary Responsibilities
Lead all BIM related tasks and duties for the project

Understand the BIM and computation/data integration requirements for the project

Manage Data and FM requirements and integration for the project

Manage BIM requirements and deliverables for the project

Lead Coordination requirements for the project

Develop and integrate successful project strategy in collaboration with project partners

Support clear and consistent communication with all project members

Other specific responsibilities to be developed as needed

Services

Directly oversee key strategic processes and the implementation of the Project Digital Delivery PlanDevelop and assist in the understanding of project execution planning and digital deliverable execution strategiesAdhere to company Digital Delivery standards, including enforcement of model health maintenance, production design standards, technology platforms, guidelines, and workflowsAdvise project leadership and project Principals in early-stage digital deliverable planning effortsEngage with project management and project leadership to maintain awareness of current and future project digital deliverable needs for the project

Applied RD

Participate in the evaluation, testing, and implementation of design technology and workflows for use on the project

Stay informed of the latest industry trends with regards to Digital Project Delivery technology

Policy

Responsible for supporting and maintaining project strategies, goals, communication and interactions key to the success of the project

Communication

Develop and integrate a strong / recurring meeting and coordination schedule for the projectLead weekly project Digital Delivery Lead meetingsLead weekly Model Coordination meetingsMaintain communication with project team and leadershipProvide timely resolution to project team’s troubleshooting and coordination requestsMaintain communications with assigned offices and Digital Practice Leaders in support of the projectSupport Project Model ManagersDevelop and integrate training sessions, as needed, for projectDevelop as-needed workshops, onboarding and communication plans for the projectMaintain clear communication with Client/Owner Leadership, their Digital Delivery Leadership, and FM leadershipDocument and record decisions and direction in accessible project document

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction ManagementA Minimum 10 years AEC industry experience including large scale, complex projects in the domains of Healthcare typologiesPrevious experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firmAptitude toward technology and analytical problem-solving skillsExperience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not requiredExperience within the AEC industry and typical project Digital Project Delivery standardsExperience leading cross-discipline teams in the development of a Digital Delivery PlanRequired Qualifications
Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experienceA minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and  5 years digital delivery (model management) experienceComprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems   Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructureAdvanced skillset of 3D Coordination toolsAdvanced skillset of Microsoft Office products and communication toolsFamiliar with industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specificationsFamiliar with basic automation and programming applications for efficienciesFamiliar with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applicationsFamiliar with content creation and management conceptsSuperior client service, communication, and presentation skills are essentialDemonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively serve as a first line of technical supportExcellent communication skills, attention to detail and leadership traits are essentialMust have strong organizational skills to establish priorities between technical support requests and project workMust be enthusiastic, energetic, and an excellent work ethic
