Job Title: Project Delivery Lead
Location: Doha, Qatar with regular offshore and construction site visits

Job Purpose:
LNG Operator client is seeking a Project Delivery Lead to support the Compression Project as part of the department Venture Group. This role requires providing comprehensive project management, coordination, and technical support to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Delivery Lead will closely assist the Head of Project Engineering and the Project Manager, ensuring seamless internal coordination across project disciplines and efficient interface management.

Key Responsibilities – not limited to the below:
Project Management & Execution Provide full project management support to the Compression Project Manager and Head of Project Engineering. Ensure strict compliance with project requirements across engineering, HSE, quality, procurement, and project scheduling. Lead the coordination of internal project teams including HSE, quality, planning, and interface management teams. Monitor and control project deliverables ensuring alignment with regulations, specifications, and company procedures. Risk & Interface Management Develop, maintain, and regularly update the project risk register. Identify risks and issues that could impact project schedule and delivery; lead mitigation and resolution activities in collaboration with EPC Contractors. Oversee coordination of project interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project schedules and minimizing execution clashes. Project Governance & Reporting Prepare project documents including decision records, technical notes, interface agreements, project gate deliverables, and presentations for review and approval. Lead and coordinate project gate reviews and participate actively in critical path reviews, proposing mitigation strategies. Capture, implement, and report lessons learned, incorporating feedback from operations and previous projects into the Compression execution phase. Cross-Functional Coordination Ensure seamless integration and communication between multiple project sites, including Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication Yards (Karimun and Qatar), System Completions, and Handovers to OESS. Proactively manage schedule integration and resource sharing between various EPC Contractors for the benefit of the project investment program.
Key Challenges: Managing complex coordination across a major multi-site, multi-phase project that includes: Five new riser platforms, one wellhead platform, 110 km of CRA pipelines, stalk-on risers, cables, and FO lines. Approximately 45 tie-ins and modifications across 30 existing platforms. Delivering the project within tight schedules and high-quality standards. Navigating a challenging, fast-paced project environment with significant internal and external interfaces. Frequent travel to offshore platforms and international construction sites.

Generic Accountabilities: Ensure all activities comply with client Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality policies and procedures. Actively support Qatarization by contributing to the development of Qatari employees. Comply with anti-trust, competition laws, and company firewall policies.
Minimum Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience: Minimum of 8 years in the Oil & Gas industry. At least 5 years in project management roles on EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) projects. Proven experience in: Risk and schedule management Leadership in complex project environments Managing internal and external project interfaces Strong technical background and working knowledge of: Oil & Gas engineering practices International codes and standards
Technical and Business Skills: High proficiency in English (written and spoken). Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and experience with project management tools (Power BI preferred). Excellent organizational, planning, execution, and progress tracking abilities. Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with cross-functional and multicultural teams. Strong awareness of risk assessments, multi-discipline coordination, and design review processes.
