Job Description:
Assist sales and merchandising managers in planning, organizing, and executing projects to achieve sales targets and merchandising objectivesCoordinate sales and merchandising activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestonesPrepare project documentation, including sales plans, merchandising strategies, schedules, meeting agendas, and status reportsFacilitate project meetings, record minutes, and track action items to ensure follow-up and accountabilityMonitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolutionMaintain project files, records, and documentation in an organized and accessible mannerCommunicate project updates, sales performance, merchandising initiatives, and deliverables to stakeholders, team members, and managementAssist in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance sales and merchandising project efficiency and effectivenessCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, merchandising, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment of project goals and objectivesSupport ad-hoc sales and merchandising-related tasks and initiatives as assigned by sales and merchandising managers or leadershipQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, merchandising, or equivalent work experienceProven experience as a project coordinator or similar role, preferably in sales and merchandisingStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholdersProficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or TrelloDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of workAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressureStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analyticallyKnowledge of sales and merchandising principles, strategies, and best practices is a plusWhat You Can Expect From 2020 Companies
