Job Title: Project Coordinator – Energy Efficiency Programs
Location: New York City, NY
Overview:
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support energy efficiency initiatives targeting multifamily buildings in the New York City area. This role involves working closely with program staff, contractors, field personnel, and clients to facilitate projects focused on reducing gas and electric usage or advancing building electrification.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage project intake and coordinate with contractors throughout the project lifecycleReview energy savings calculations and inspection reports for multifamily energy efficiency projectsTrack and manage project data using proprietary software systemsCollect and verify project documentation including equipment specs, financials, and housing qualificationsProvide feedback to contractors based on inspection results to ensure complianceMonitor program milestones and reporting metricsAttend industry events and engage with stakeholders as neededMaintain clear communication with internal teams, contractors, and clientsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree1–2 years of experience in energy efficiency, multifamily housing, or project managementStrong organizational and communication skillsFamiliarity with energy efficiency principles and technologiesProficiency in project management tools, spreadsheets, and workflow softwareAbility to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detailPreferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of energy-efficient gas technologies (e.g., boilers, steam systems) or electrification measures (e.g., heat pumps)Interest in HVAC systems and mechanical components such as chillers, cooling towers, and air handlersPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.65/hr.
