Project Coordinator Apprentice

The Red Hat Services team is looking for a Project Coordinator to join us in Puteaux, France on September 1st, 2025. In this role, you will report to the regional services manager and support the delivery of our consulting solutions while providing project support and serving as a direct project manager depending on the size and complexity of the engagement. You'll ensure that all processes, approvals, and system tools are accurately maintained and identify and design improved efficiency within the day-to-day operations of the Services team. You will coordinate with other key teams like Finance, Sales, and Resourcing - managing these relationships will be key. As a Project Coordinator, you will also manage all customer-facing activities like project scheduling, logistics, coordination, tracking, and monitoring and you’ll collaborate with various Finance teams on customer issues to solve project issues around time reporting, invoicing, and revenue recognition. You will become project management-certified to ensure all projects are delivered successfully.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide billable project management to selected projects within the Consulting team

Perform data management, analysis and monthly/quarterly revenue reconciliation

Provide both regular and ad hoc reporting around KPIs like backlog, GAP, submitted projects, consulting hours, regional dashboards, etc.

Review customer satisfaction reports and identify those failing to meet the required standards

Provide project administration (inbound) and project management (outbound)

Set up and maintain projects using the internal professional services automation (PSA) tool

Interact with the Project Accounting team to ensure correct Oracle setup, data validation, and revenue recognition on projects

Monitor consultants' time cards, signed time sheets, and project-related expense reports

Gather all relevant project documentation like milestone acceptances and ensure that it is uploaded to the appropriate repository

Provide input for improvement and optimization of process and system efficiency; promote and train standardized processes to key teams

Provide service sales support; review and track service opportunities

Provide service contractual support like amendments and redemption forms

Familiarize yourself with all systems and tools used by Red Hat Services

Take on additional responsibilities with customer-facing project management activities over time as Red Hat scales

Required Skills:

Pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field

Availability to start on the September 1st, 2025

Familiarity with project management fundamentals; Prince 2, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), or Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications are a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French

Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines and analyze data to foster data-driven decisions

Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and examine how things work internally

Willingness to learn and proactively work as a part of a wider team

Record of doing at least one internship or job in the past is a plus
