We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our commercial real estate company and work on-site at one of our prestigious client locations. As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and coordination of a variety of events, including conferences, seminars, networking events, and corporate meetings. Your exceptional organizational skills, creative thinking, and interpersonal abilities will contribute to the overall success of the events and enhance our client's experience.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, requirements, and target audience.
+ Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of assigned events, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, transportation, lodging, budgeting, and timelines.
+ Coordinate event logistics such as registration, attendee tracking, and on-site support.
+ Prepare event materials, including presentations, agendas, name badges, and promotional items.
+ Manage event budgets and provide regular reporting on expenses.
+ Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure necessary services and equipment within budget constraints.
+ Liaise with external stakeholders, including venues, vendors, speakers, and entertainment, to ensure seamless event execution.
+ Collaborate with marketing teams to develop event collateral, invitations, and promotional materials.
+ Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
+ Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event planning and management.
Essential Skills
+ 2 years of experience in event planning, preferably in the commercial real estate sector.
+ Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
+ Proficient in event management software and tools such as Cvent, Eventbrite, or similar platforms.
+ Expertise in budget management and financial reporting.
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
+ Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
+ CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) certification or equivalent.
+ Experience working with high-profile corporate clients.
+ Familiarity with sustainable event planning practices.
+ Understanding of audiovisual equipment and technical requirements for events.
+ Familiarity with virtual and hybrid event strategies and platforms.
Work Environment
The role requires working on-site at a client location within a commercial real estate setting. The work involves coordinating various aspects of event planning and execution, often requiring collaboration with multiple stakeholders. The position may require flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules. The dress code is business casual, reflecting the professional nature of the events and client interactions.

This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
