Project Coordinator
**Job Title: Structural Steel Project Detailer** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Structural Steel Project Detailer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our structural steel projects through detailed drafting and technical communication with clients. **Responsibilities** + Detail structural steel projects with precision. + Write and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) for customers. + Engage in technical writing to support project documentation. + Draft and design using AutoCAD and other related technologies. + Utilize 3D modeling software such as Tekla and SDS2. + Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience in structural steel detailing. + Proficiency with AutoCAD, Tekla, and SDS2. + Strong technical writing skills. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in project coordination, construction, and project management. + Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. + Experience in residential home building is an asset. + An engineering degree is preferred but not required. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy ample growth opportunities within the company and the chance to be cross-trained in various aspects of the organization, enhancing both your personal and professional development. **Work Environment** Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, offering a balanced work-life schedule. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, SC. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $36.00/hr.
