**Job Description**
**AECOM** is looking for a **Project Coordinator** to join the Buildings + Places team in **Halifax, NS** .
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
+ Provide project coordination / control and review the designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
+ Support project managers with routine and non-routine tasks.
+ Typical duties will include:
+ Attend meetings and prepare minutes of meetings;
+ Monitor project costs and budgets;
+ Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports;
+ Prepare and/or review documents (drawings, reports, contractor shop drawings, etc.);
+ Acts as liaison between Third Parties and client;
+ Prepare project schedules and monitor progress of work; and
+ Review and compile client submittals
+ Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced project manager.
+ Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelors Degree + 2 years of relevant experience in the engineering or architect field OR College Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience in the engineering or architect field OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ **Mandatory Security Clearance Requirements:** Applicants must hold OR be eligible to obtain: Reliability Status clearance (minimum) and Secret clearance (required for most projects).
+ **Eligibility Requirements for Security Clearance:** Must have lived in Canada for the past 5 years (Reliability) or 10 years (Secret). Clearances are granted by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
**Preferred Qualifications :**
+ Project coordination experience with buildings
+ Project management experience would be an asset
+ Design and/or review of engineering plans
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
+ Interacts with clients in a professional manner
+ Strong interpersonal, negotiating, problem-solving and analytical skills are a must
+ Able to work well under pressure
+ Detail oriented, adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads
+ Self-starter, ability to multi-task
**Additional Information**
+ Relocation is not available for this position.
+ Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.
Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $52000 to $70000.
