Project Coordinator
Job Title: Project Coordinator IIJob Description

Join a team that connects passion with purpose. We are seeking a Project Coordinator II to support new customer construction project teams with accounting, billing, and financial support. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the financial aspects of the construction project life cycle are accurately recorded and managed, enabling companies to advance their service to the world.

ResponsibilitiesSupport construction accounting activities and oversight for the regional project management team.Create, monitor, and edit work orders in SAP.Create and maintain accurate technical master data.Interpret construction project scopes to ensure compliance with company accounting policies and line extension tariffs and schedules.Generate customer billing by creating accurate and timely non-consumption contract accounts and sales documents in SAP.Audit facility agreements for pricing and customer data accuracy.Resolve issues related to accounting, SOX controls, and tariff interpretation.Work with service providers to resolve blocked billing issues.Perform accounting functions such as journal entries and monthly problem order review.Research and resolve data and accounting problems.Communicate with peers, customers, and management to ensure proper financial and accounting practices.Develop ad hoc reporting as needed.Support the development of system and process improvements and solutions.Participate in emergency response efforts as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential SkillsProficient in SAP.Experience in construction services (administrators, accounting, etc.) with at least two years of relevant experience.Ability to exercise judgment in analyzing blueprints and system maps.Experience contributing to process improvements.Experience developing ad hoc reporting with minimal assistance.Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel and Microsoft Word.
Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's degree in accounting, business, construction management, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.Previous work experience in the gas and/or electric utility industry.Knowledge of AutoCAD, Drafting, Utility, Civil, Electrical, Distribution, Transmission, Construction Coordination.Familiarity with RFI/WO Documentation, overhead distribution, underground utilities, underground distribution, piping design, gas system design, electric system design, utilities, PUD, public utility district.
Work Environment

This position is based in an office environment with construction crews coming and going, providing a dynamic and fast-paced work setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Kent, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
