The Office of Energy and Mineral Resources is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator. This position will be located in Boise, Idaho. This is a non-classified, appointed position in Idaho State government and exempt from the provisions of Chapter 53, Title 67 of Idaho Code.

As a Project Coordinator, you’ll help develop, implement, and manage financial assistance programs funded by federal grants, ensuring alignment with Idaho’s energy policies and priorities. This position will supply support and guidance on programs and organizational activities to convey information, assist with compliance, and help resolve situations relative to the programs. Additionally, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and play a role in shaping Idaho’s energy policy.

Salary Range: $27.12 - $30.75
Responsibilities:
Grant Project Development and Administration:
+ Plan and coordinate program development projects, including project goals, work plans, timelines, and implementation strategies
+ Identify key stakeholders and build partnerships with agencies, organizations, and communities
+ Develop and implement strategies to encourage and obtain stakeholder and community support
+ Analyze project decision-making issues and recommend solutions
+ Create metrics for project development and implementation in collaboration with advisory groups
+ Monitor contract compliance and prepare detailed reporting documents
+ Develop guides, handbooks, and promotional materials to support program initiatives
+ Serve as a liaison between federal, state, and local agencies, sub-awardees, and advisory groups
+ Coordinates publicity and development of new releases and related materials
Administrative Support:
+ Assist fiscal staff with budget administration and expenditure tracking
+ Prepare fiscal, narrative, and evaluative reports on project progress
+ May Identify and secure potential funding sources for future projects
+ Assist in preparing applications or documentation to secure project funding
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in:
· Planning and implementing projects
· Developing, promoting and gaining project support
· Interpreting and explaining specialized or complex material into information usable by the public
Desired Qualifications
+ Experience planning and implementing projects
+ Strong research and analysis skills
+ Interpreting and explaining, regulations, and policies for multiple and specialized programs, including energy policies
+ A bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
