This role involves providing comprehensive project coordination, documentation, and administrative support for construction projects and programs. You will assist project managers by managing project documents, scheduling meetings, and taking detailed meeting notes. Your organizational skills will be key as you upload notes, documents, and tasks using various technology systems, including Microsoft Office and Teams. You will actively participate in project milestone meetings and communicate updates back to the project manager. Additionally, you will be responsible for document control for transmission, distribution, and electric projects.
Responsibilities
+ Provide project coordination, documentation, and administrative support for construction projects.
+ Assist project managers with scheduling and managing project documents.
+ Take comprehensive meeting notes and upload them to technology systems.
+ Attend project milestone meetings and communicate updates to the project manager.
+ Control documentation for transmission, distribution, and electric projects.
+ Collaborate with project managers and engineers both internally and externally.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years administrative or project coordination experience handling documents.
+ Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office with at least 1 year of experience.
+ Strong organizational skills and a willingness to embrace technology.
+ Local residency in Duluth, MN.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in transmission and distribution is preferred but not required.
+ Skills in data entry, Microsoft Office, and scheduling are advantageous.
Work Environment
The position is based in Duluth and requires in-office presence three days a week, from Tuesday to Thursday, with the remaining days working from home. The role is entirely office-based with no fieldwork involved. Collaboration with project managers and engineers will occur both in person and virtually via email and Teams.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
