Flynn Group of Companies is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join their Flynn Facades team. The primary role of the Project Coordinator is to provide support and coordination to the Project Manager and Project Management team with regards to the successful planning, execution and reporting of a project. This role will have an emphasis on documentation.

A Day in the Life:-Read, interpret, and understand drawings, specifications, and maintain conformance with same during work processes.-Maintain project information including shop drawings, work plans, fabrication/work orders, schedules, project files, and reports.-Effectively and accurately communicate project information and updates to the project team.-Build internal and external relationship.-Acquire, submit, and track samples for approvals of project materials.-Coordination of performance mock-ups, visual mock-ups, and testing.-Perform and/or organize activities to support the daily operations of the project.-Participate in creating/maintaining reports related to project safety, quality, schedule, budget, and any other relevant information required.-Assist project team in compliance with QC.-Scheduling delivery of materials to sites, ensuring proper logistics.-Produce and monitor skidding and shipping schedules.-Prepare BOM for scope of work, and check against shop drawings, specs, SI’s, change orders, etc.-Ensure all required materials are procured and available to meet schedule.-Acquire and submit warranty and close out documents.-Assist in the support and enforcement of Flynn's Health and Safety Policies.
What Your Bring:-Bachelor's degree in construction, building or civil engineering (preferred).-1 to 3 years of relevant experience working in major construction sites (preferred).Strong computer skills, and advanced knowledge in MS office package.-Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving abilities. Ability to read plans and specifications.-Able to work independently; able to work accurately under pressure.-Able to travel to construction sites across Southern Ontario (GTA, Kitchener/Waterloo, Niagara).
