Project Coordinator

**UPMC Western Maryland is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our Professional Development Department.**
This position will provide support for the West Central Region Professional Development Department.
This is a Monday-Friday, dayshift position, no weekends or holidays!
**Responsibilities:**
+ Participate in the documentation and submission of service requests to ISD and/or system vendor(s). Assist in the assignment of request priorities, and monitor and communicate the progress of the assigned requests.
+ Provide first-level support for department programs and initiatives. Communicate problems or complex requests to the Management.
+ Maintain an understanding of UPMC health careers to support programs and initiatives.
+ Develop and maintain documents and materials to support the effective roll out of programs and initiatives.
+ Develops and maintains Excel Spreadsheets.
+ Assist with department administrative support.
+ General involvement with all Human Resources aspects of the organization.
+ Assist in documentation of processes, standards, procedures, and policies for programs and initiatives.
+ Provide support, where needed, for all events and activities.
+ Participate in design, development, and implementation programs and initiatives.

+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare, or related field required.
+ Two years of experience in project planning and/or administrative functions required OR one year of experience in project planning and/or administrative functions with completion of UPMC Summer Associates/Pittsburgh Fellows program required OR High School degree plus 3 years of experience.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
+ Excellent client service skills and proven ability to deal effectively with employees required.
