Project Coordinator

We are looking for our new Project Coordinator, who will be responsible for:
- Supporting the European Sales Offices during the preparation of commercial offers for projects of medium complexity, manufactured in Europe (Székesfehérvár, Hungary and Cernay, France factories).
- Coordinating several projects by driving all activities (from order to invoicing) required for their smooth execution, meeting customer requirements and contractual delivery dates while improving their profitability.
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Participate to technical and commercial offers preparation with Sales Offices and Global Project Pursuit by coordinating the specifications review and planning activities
- Participate to alignments calls and contract review calls
- Influence project specifications towards Emerson standards in order to reduce risks while collaborating with the Sales Offices
- Ensure that every stakeholder understands the project’s requirements by reviewing the spec review file in details, listing the deviations and following the required process
- Commit on project lead times while considering, whenever possible, some float to mitigate risks
- Ensure Emerson commitments are detailed in the purchase order
- Be responsible for the project once awarded, in agreement with the Sales Office
- Be Flow Control Europe interface for customer and contribute to his happiness by providing required and accurate data
- Organize every progress meeting (etc. Project Review …)
- Lead every project step, while ensuring lead times and milestones are respected
- Coordinate the various internal Europeans stakeholders
- Track and record project progress (goods and documentation)
- Coordinate any change that could happen and record lessons learned during project life
- Commit to annual, quarterly and monthly Sales forecasts
- Improve project profitability
- Anticipate and identify potential risks in any project’s aspect and ensure that preventive/corrective actions are activated
- Record any fact or relevant step in order to provide factual data to negotiate in case of dispute
- At project completion, hand over to end destination Sales Office
WHO YOU ARE:
You focus on crafting an effective collaborative style. You readily action new challenges, without unnecessary planning.
FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- BA or BS Degree preferably in engineering (mechanical, chemical etc)
- Strong communication skills
- Microsoft Office 365 products
- Project management skills and communication level of English
- 3 to 5 years related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
- German or other European Languages
- Experience in International contract management
- Transversal leadership skills (capacity to lead a multicultural team)
- Negotiation skills and customer relationship skills
- Control valve product knowledge would be a plus
