Project Coordinator
Description Robert Half is seeking a Project Coordinator for our client in Carson City! As the Project Coordinator you will be tasked to lead multiple capital improvement projects within its facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in managing all phases of building construction and coordinating large-scale projects, particularly in a government or public-sector environment. Key Responsibilities: + Coordinate all phases of building construction projects, including bid solicitation, contract review, compliance oversight, and the RFP process + Develop project scopes and coordinate remodeling requests by meeting with stakeholders + Review and interpret construction contracts, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with codes, agreements, and design requirements + Provide clarification on code requirements, design drawings, and specifications to ensure adherence to approved plans and contracts + Conduct periodic field inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with project designs, building codes, state standards, and OSHA requirements + Perform skilled mechanical and construction trade work to repair, construct, and maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment + Maintain inventory, manage equipment maintenance records, prepare reports, and oversee the work of contractors + Perform other duties as assigned Requirements + High school diploma or GED + Valid driver’s license + 1 to 3 years of progressively responsible experience in two or more mechanical and/or construction trades, including 1 to 3 years of project coordination and at least one year of journey-level experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience + Experience inspecting construction work for compliance with plans, specifications, contracts, and building codes + Strong skills in organizing meetings and projects + Proficiency in reading and interpreting contract documents, specifications, policies, legal documents, parcel maps, construction plans, and relevant federal and state regulations + Experience with CAD software and other construction or project management tools + Knowledge of construction principles and practices, including specialized areas such as roofing, asbestos management, and paving + Familiarity with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as it relates to building accessibility + Understanding of general safety practices and OSHA requirements for construction projects TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
